The Kandy Trip #8 by Son of the Morning Light on 500px.com — Shermaine Willis and Anuradha Perera, shot on assignment for Ashraff Associates and The Radh, Kandy, walking by Kandy’s scenic urban lake. Created in 1807, at the command of Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe, the last Lankan king, the “Kiri Mhudha”, or Sea of Milk, is one of Kandy’s most striking features. The road that circles the lake serves as a promenade for the city’s residents, and walking around it is known as doing “the lake round”. Sri Lanka, October 2018.
